THE 22-23 ARSENAL FC SQUAD NUMBERS HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED

This summer's transfer season has seen a lot of activity from teams, and Arsenal has spent the most money (€132m) thus far. It is clear that Arsenal is making every effort to finish in the top4, and they are prepared to spend a lot of money on new players to get there. First off, thus far, Arsenal has spent €52.5 million on Gabriel Jesus, €35 million on Oleksandr Zinchenko, €35 million on Fábio Vieira, €6.36 million on Matt Turner, and €3.5 million on promising Brazilian winger Marquinhos. Gabriel Jesus, a marquee acquisition, will carry shirt number9, which has previously been used by legendary players like Nicolas Anelka. Turner received jersey number30, Marquinhos chose number27, Zinchenko opted for number35, while Vieira chose number 21. Additionally, a number of players are coming back from loans, including Rnar Alex Rnarsson(#13), William Saliba, Héctor Bellern, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and Reiss Nelson. Arsenal will undoubtedly want to shed a few players before the new season starts given that they also have the record for having the greatest negative balance (-118 million euros). A deal for Fulham-linked German goalkeeper Bernd Leno is already the subject of rumors. Also previously connected to other teams were Kieran Tierney, Granit Xhaka, and Gabriel Magalhes.

Prediction for 2021–2022

The goal for Arsenal next season will be to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League, although another year of consolidation may be in order. It could be challenging for Arsenal to establish sufficient stability to win the Premier League with several newcomers. They will indeed aim for a successful campaign in one of the domestic cup tournaments given the talent they currently have.
